Coastguard Hibiscus Charity Golf Tournament

Join us for the Coastguard Hibiscus Charity Golf Tournament — a fun afternoon on the green raising funds for a much-needed replacement rescue boat!

Event Details

• Date: 21 November 2025

• Times:

  • 1:30PM Player briefing

  • 2:00PM Tee off

• Location: Whangaparāoa Golf Course

• Format: 9 Hole Ambrose Net Medal

• Team Size: 4 players per team

• Entry includes:

  • 9 hole round of golf

  • One attempt per player at the hole in one competition

  • A drink at the bar and a buffet dinner

• Dinner: Dinner only tickets are available. Bar opens at 5PM

Objectives

• To raise funds for the purchase of a new rescue boat for Coastguard Hibiscus.

• To promote awareness about maritime safety and the essential services provided by the Coastguard.

• To foster community spirit and engagement through a fun sporting event.

  
  

Activities and Highlights

• Golf Tournament: Participants will enjoy a friendly competition while playing a 9-hole round of golf in teams.

• Raffles and Prizes: Exciting prizes will be awarded for the best teams, as well as raffle prizes donated by local businesses.

• Refreshments: Entry includes a buffet dinner a the Whangaparāoa Golf Club clubhouse.

  
  

How to Participate

• Gather a team of players and register. We will match solo players into teams.

• Support the event by attending, even if you are not participating in the tournament.

• Consider making a donation to the Coastguard Hibiscus to support our mission.

• Sponsor a hole, donate an auction or raffle prize.
